Hi, I'm John!

I made SQL Racer because I wanted to sharpen my own SQL skills. And racing is way more fun than reading documentation.

I'm primarily a UI and frontend developer. These days it's getting harder to stay on one side of the stack, and I'm watching the same trend many of us are: becoming a full stack engineer. This project is part of that journey, with real Postgres in the browser, a multiplayer server and a lot of speed.
